Diosdado Cabello: Firefighters and Civil Protection will join the Militia for the defense of the Homeland

Firefighters and Civil Protection (PC) personnel will join the Bolivarian National Militia this weekend to help defend our territory, in the face of threats from North American imperialism, said the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“They are part of the call made by our president, in the face of threats, attacks, against those who believe they are superior, to join the ranks of the Militia. This weekend we will be registering ourselves in the cause of defending the Homeland,” said Cabello during the events commemorating National Firefighter's Day.

In this regard, he recalled the call made by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, to Venezuelans to join the Militia, for the comprehensive defense of the nation against the new threats of imperialism.

In addition, the also sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace called on these men and women to “not let down their guard” and to remain alert to defend our Homeland in whatever scenario. “Let's never let our guard down, sleep with one eye open and with the other as well. With the senses alert,” he said.
