Diosdado Cabello: July is the month of the Fatherland and we remember that the struggle is independence

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, celebrated the arrival of the month of July, which marks the beginning of the second half of the year and a period in which important dates are commemorated for Venezuelans.

“The month of July is like the marker month; it's independence, sovereignty, the Homeland, it's Simon Bolivar, it's Chávez. July is July! The month of the Fatherland and we remember that the real struggle is independence and in the face of Independence there is nothing to oppose it,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program.

He pointed out that the extreme right in these times “is kneeling waiting for imperialism to pass its hand on them and their backs go up and they move their tail”.

“If anything has been learned in these years of the Bolivarian Revolution, it is to rescue the principles of independence, sovereignty, self-determination, non-interference, fundamental principles of a free nation, while imperialism continues in its work to lie and lie more and more and with greater force to distort everything that is said at its convenience,” he said.
