In his program this Wednesday, June 18, Con El Mazo Dando, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that military life is not a career, it is a life.

“Anyone who gets into military life, when parents see him at three months old they say 'my son is another' (...). Nowadays, very young people (military) are leaving and they have one life left to give, so in promotions we have to stay united and attend to any problem that presents itself to its members,” he said.

He recalled that Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez said that in military life “it is an unbridled love one has for the (Military) Academy”.

In that sense, he said “military life is like our life now (..) I am happy with my life and with what I am doing. The military and the family get used to the life they lead, especially to deprivation and absences.”
