Since February and to date, through the Plan Back to the Fatherland, 3,241 Venezuelans have been repatriated, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, which he hosts with the deputy Tania Díaz, he explained that these compatriots have arrived in the country on 16 flights organized and paid for by the Revolutionary Government.

“This procedure is free, the ticket is zero cost, it is paid by the Bolivarian Government. It is the Plan Back to the Homeland organized by President Nicolás Maduro and who has been doing this since 2018 (repatriating compatriots)”, emphasized Cabello.

In this regard, Cabello assured that a plan was created against Venezuela to stimulate the migration of compatriots and then use that situation to attack the country.

“This is a plan that began in 2011 with some boys who went viral and said 'I would go too away', a lot of people took it to heart but that stuck. Then came the heroic campaign and they said that the one who was leaving was a hero, 'get out of Venezuela because there are no opportunities', it was the epic of leaving,” he stressed.

He also repudiated that after stimulating migration, the spokesmen of the extreme right tried to use the issue of return as part of their electoral campaign. “Don't be miserable, you were the one who made him leave,” he emphasized.
