Diosdado Cabello: The coup against Zelaya was never investigated by anyone

Diosdado Cabello Rondón drew attention to the absence of an investigation into the coup d'etat that the Honduran right wing, together with imperialism, carried out against President Manuel Zelaya in 2009.

“It was a coup d'etat carried out by the United States (USA) and that's where it stayed,” recalled the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during the broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, who ironized the silence that still prevails over this fact.

“It wasn't a big deal! (...) They come and knock an elected president down and that's it, as if that were something that happens every day,” he said, while denouncing that these actions are still being carried out by US imperialism.

“Today they do the same thing, they pressure and cut off the entry of countries seeking a social implosion and then they (the United States) come out like the saviors,” he said.
