The order of the violent groups, led by former presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia, was to cause deaths to blame the national government, said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
“The order was that there should be deaths so that they could be taken over by the Government as happened on April 11,” he said during the broadcast of Con El Mazo Dando's 488 program.
In this regard, he pointed out that in the recent acts of violence, the fascists shot a young man in the stomach and then threw him into the Guaire River where he spent more than 15 minutes trying to survive and succeeded. “By miracles he is alive. Why so much hate, why so much evil?” , he said.
