In the United States there is no true democracy, there is a bipartisan regime, said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

“Let them decide what their choices are like, their own system. But, if you ask me, I would say that in the United States there is no democracy, there is a bipartisan regime,” said Cabello, while criticizing that the imperialists intend to establish themselves as the “fathers of democracy” when they have such an archaic political system.

In this regard, he compared the political situation in the United States with that experienced in Venezuela during the years of the so-called Fourth Republic where, protected by the fixed point pact, two parties took turns governing the country.

Cabello raised his voice to demand that the United States stop its wars in the world. “Hopefully they will complete and end the war, the massacre and the genocide against the Palestinian people. Hopefully they will put a stop to war and fascism in Ukraine,” he said, referring to the promises of the newly elected president of that country, Donald Trump.
