Diosdado Cabello: We will defend ourselves against anyone, whatever time

Venezuela will defend itself, no matter what time it is, against anyone who wants to attack it, said the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a press conference held this Tuesday.

“We will defend ourselves against anyone, at any time. Know the internal and external enemies of the country who will find us standing here, united in perfect civic-military-police fusion,” he said in response to recent statements by senior officials in Trinidad and Tobago to “use lethal force” against our country.

“A man of Trinidadian origin brought the weapons (which would be used in terrorist plans) from that country. We are warning that Trinidad does not become what Duque's Colombia was, so that they do not allow conspiracy against a neighboring country from their soil,” he stressed.

In the same way, the head of the Interior portfolio reiterated that, while the enemies of Venezuela accuse us of any barbarity, “we are calm passing the blows and waiting for the right moment to move on to the counterattack.”
