Despite the threats and attempts of North American imperialism to intimidate and blackmail the people, Venezuelans keep intact their spirit of struggle, joy and deep desire for peace, said Labor Minister Eduardo Piñate.
“We are a people that have fought a lot. We are a cheerful people. We are a peaceful people,” he said from the march that toured the capital city to demand respect for our sovereignty and in support of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
In addition, the revolutionary leader emphasized that the primary objective of Venezuela's struggle is to achieve peace in order to continue building the Homeland.
“We want peace to continue building our homeland. We want peace because we have the right to build it,” he said.
