The Egypt Pavilion offered more than 100 activities to the visiting public at the 21st Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) 2025, as announced by the Egyptian chargé d'affaires in Venezuela, Mohammad Abdelwahab, during the closing of the conference in this space.

“Today we celebrated this closing ceremony in the Egypt Room. It was a wonderful experience we had in these 10 days, during which we carried out more than 100 activities for everyone to enjoy,” said Abdelwahab.

Among all that was done, the presentation of 10 books, conferences and cultural and artistic events in the Plaza de la Juventud in Caracas, whose purpose was to publicize aspects of Egyptian civilization, stood out.

He also highlighted the presence of authorities from his country and Venezuela, thus reaffirming the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. In addition, he thanked the organizers of FILVEN 2025 for paying this tribute to Egypt, within the framework of 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations, with a view to strengthening the people-to-people bond.

“For us it is very important to strengthen this cooperative relationship between Egypt and Venezuela,” he said.

The diplomat also took the opportunity to highlight that the Children's Pavilion had spaces aimed at teaching children about the ancient history of the Nile River and Egyptian history, through stories, theatrical performances and games.

He reiterated his gratitude to the Bolivarian Government and the Venezuelan people for the hospitality they offered them in the framework of this fair held at the National Art Gallery in Caracas.

He also praised the setting of the Egypt Room with the characteristics and personality of his country, to transfer attendees to this nation and publicize its culture.
