“El Cañonazo” concert will be held this 31D at the Palacios de Miraflores

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the traditional concert “El Cañonazo”, which is held to say goodbye to the year and welcome a new year, will be held this December 31 in the spaces of the Palacios de Miraflores.

“We have the concert on the 31st, El Cañonazo (...) we are going to the People's House, to the Palacios de Miraflores, in the Miraflores Palace we are going to receive the traditional cannon shot of many years in Caracas,” he said during a press conference to publicize the Cultural Agenda for Peace and Joy.

In this regard, together with the head of the Capital District Government , Nahum Fernández, he announced some of the artists who will perform at the concert, including: The Cardinals of Success, Omar Acedo, Los Cadillacs, Xuxo, Gio Fernández, Mapa, The Perfect Melody, Negrito Borjas, Lion Lazaro, Juan Miguel, Felipe Peláez, Francisco Pacheco and his orchestra, Pablo Montero, Banny Costa, among others.

Fernández also indicated that the concert will run until January 1 with artists such as Maelo Ruiz, Femina, Wilmer Cobo, Project A, Mabel, Mapa, Grupo Madera, El Potro Álvarez, Los Melodicos, among others.

For this reason, they extended it to all citizens to attend as a family and enjoy this tradition in the town house .
