Environmental meeting in Caracas reinforces commitment to the preservation of the planet

The mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality, A/J Carmen Meléndez, held a meeting with the environmental, environmental, protectionist and animalist movements of Caracas, with the objective of advancing the consolidation of policies that protect the planet.

During the meeting, which took place at the Caricuao Zoological Park, ideas and proposals emerged to optimize the feeding and care of companion animals, sterilization services, as well as to strengthen the legal framework that protects living beings.

Meléndez highlighted that the Mayor's Office of Caracas has a Secretariat of Ecosocialism to govern everything related to this matter and that it is contemplated in the Sixth Transformation of the Plan of the 7T. “This sixth transformation is transversal. It is a transformation that thinks about the future, about the preservation of our Earth, of our planet”

He emphasized the importance of continuing to work for the environmental fight in order to inculcate, train and make children aware of the preservation of the environment. “We will continue to work together for life and the preservation of the environment in our city of Caracas.”

The activity was attended by representatives of Misión Nevado, Misión Árbol, indigenous representatives, as well as integration with programs such as Humanized Childbirth, among others.
