Venezuela's Esli Garcia scored the winning goal for his Paysandu over Ponte Preta 2-1, for the 35th day of the Brasileirao Series B.

The Venezuelan came on the bench as a substitute in the 71th minute and in the 81' he scored the goal to break the tie and put the score 2-1 in favor of his team.

Garcia has 7 goals in the current season of the Brazilian second division. He is currently the top scorer of his team and the second among foreigners in the promotion category.

The Creole team is placed in box 13 of the Serie B ranking table, with 43 points in 35 games.
