Eugenio Suárez became the ninth Venezuelan to reach 900 RBIs in Major League Baseball (MLB)

Suárez hit a solo home run and access an exclusive Venezuelan slugger club, in the game that the Arizona D-backs won 4-2 over the San Francisco Giants, at Chase Field.

He is also the second active Venezuelan player with that number, behind Salvador Pérez, who has 959. The list is topped by Miguel Cabrera with 1,881.

The Venezuelan is enjoying a great season in the Majors and is fourth in the homing department (26), second in RBIs (69), fifth in slugging (.570) and eighth in extra bases (42).

Suárez averaged at .254 and OPS at .888.
