Executive Vice President holds a meeting with the Secretary General of OPEC

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of OPEC, Haitham Al Ghais, regarding her visit to New Delhi, where India's Energy Week is taking place.

The information was released through a publication made on Rodríguez's Telegram channel, where he specified that “we convey the greetings of President Nicolás Maduro Moros to this organization that is so important for price stability and the international energy market.”

They also addressed “intra-organizational cooperation and cohesion to achieve new goals in the future”.

During her speech at the 3rd Edition of Energy Week, the Vice President highlighted the need for an evolution that respects the energy trilemma and stated that the world seeks a balance that guarantees three fundamental aspects: energy security, energy accessibility and climate responsibility.
