Last Tuesday, August 12, at the Bahareque Art House in Guanare, Portuguese state, the exhibition “Art, color and stroke s” opened, an exhibition that presents 18 pieces by the brothers Elizaul and Teodulfo Guerrero.

The Guerrero brothers explained that the exhibition seeks to demonstrate the direct influence of art on people's emotions. “Through colors and detailed lines, we seek to awaken deep emotional states such as joy, sadness or wonder,” said Elizaul Guerrero.

In addition, he stressed that his work seeks to create an “important link between the creator and his audience, capable of communicating powerful messages”.

For his part, Teodulfo Guerrero emphasized the meaning of colors and strokes in his works. “Blue in a work is associated with tranquility, while deep red colors evoke passion,” he explained. As for the brushstrokes, he added that “soft and fluid strokes convey calm, unlike strong, angular strokes that can express tension”.

The event was attended by the director of the Cabinet of Culture of the Portuguese State, Rubén Uzcategui, and the participation of local poets and dancers from the community art school of peace “Tricolor”.

The exhibition “Art, Color and Strokes” will be open to the public until next Tuesday, August 19 at the Bahareque Art House, located on 17th Street between Carreras 3 and 4 in Guanare.
