The governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, accompanied the families of the state to the traditional lighting of the Samán de Naguanagua.

Lacava assured that the vibe of Venezuelans will never turn it off. “They will never take away our right to live in peace in peace, with our traditions, our culture,” he said.

“This is Venezuela, children, young people, women, men, the elderly, enjoying their Christmas,” said the Governor.

This activity marks the beginning of the Christmas festivities in the state; a time of peace, hope and union that, in the face of the conjuncture, reaffirms the people's right to joy, as well as to the enjoyment of their traditions.

It also included the intercollegial festival of bagpipes and arts, with the presentation of more than 20 schools.

The activity also included the presentation of several groups of bagpipes.
