Families in Barinas affected by the rains received a day of comprehensive medical care

Families affected by heavy rains in the town of Santa Inés, the capital city of the state of Barinas, received, this Tuesday, a medical care day organized by the teams of the National Public Health System in coordination with various government institutions.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, the day took place in the sectors of El Barro, Morroco and the central area of Santa Inés, where 67 people received care, including children, young people, adults and older adults, belonging to 18 families affected by rainfall.

During the operation, the inhabitants received care in general medicine, high blood pressure research, pediatrics and immunization for disease prevention, among other essential medical services.

In addition, families benefited from the delivery of medicines, food, hammocks and other aid, with the purpose of ensuring their well-being and safety in this difficult time.

This deployment of medical care reaffirms the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the protection of its people, ensuring that no family affected by the rains is left unattended, following the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro, the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, led by Minister Magaly Gutiérrez Viña, continues its tireless work to bring well-being to every corner of the country.

In times of difficulty, the Revolution responds with action, solidarity and the firm intention of continuing to build a Venezuela where health is a guaranteed right for all.
