FANB kicked off Christmas 2025 with the lighting of the Cross of Light

“Christmas is nothing other than the birth of Jesus, birth is life, pure life, and that is what brings us here, and I want, from the bottom of my heart, that every household of the great family of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the beautiful military family of the Fatherland, begins to celebrate all these days. And even if they permanently threaten us, joy, prosperity, spiritual growth will always shine here, and peace will always live,” said the sectoral vice-president of Sovereignty and Peace, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, at the start of the lighting of Christmas 2025.

From Fuerte Tiuna, in the courtyard of the Infantry School of the Bolivarian Military University, Padrino López thanked, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, Commander in Chief of the FANB, for the presence of the soldiers who make possible the defense and integrity of Venezuela, sovereignty and freedom.

He expressed his faith, hope and love as we are human beings heirs to the anti-imperialist epic of The Liberator Simon Bolivar and the loving legacy of Christ the Redeemer.

“Let's take the opportunity to embrace each other, to be more supportive, more peace-loving and to fall more in love with life and its values,” he said.

He also warned that Venezuelans in arms celebrate humility, life and hope, in the midst of this world that seems to explode on all fours, with the arrogance and arrogance of hegemons who try to protect their privileges by murdering entire populations.

“So let's find ourselves right now, in the family itself, at work, in the homeland where we were born, let's find ourselves in this world hopeful that life, peace and international communion, respect between States and respect for the sovereignty of nations will prevail,” he said.

Before ordering via radio the lighting of the symbol of the Cross on the top of a hill in Fuerte Tiuna, he asked the Almighty and the Messiah, that his birth on Christmas Eve would shower blessings on Venezuela and the planet.

“We are all reunited as a family, to see this traditional act of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and that begins these Christmas festivities, the arrival of the Child God. And with our desire for life, peace and joy, proceed to light the cross of the FANB, in the name of God, go ahead!” , he said.
