This Saturday, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), expressed its resounding rejection of the recent military aggressions perpetrated by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The reaction occurred during the visit of a delegation from the Expanded Superior General Staff and the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (CEOFANB) in which they expressed their support and solidarity on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the Minister of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.
The rejection of the FANB is based on multiple violations of international law and the consideration of attacks as “genocidal and terrorist”. The former Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Antonio Hernández Lárez, strongly condemned the war action.
“The FANB categorically rejects the military aggression and the attack perpetrated by the Zionist state of Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran; this unjustified and terrorist war, violating all types of international law, is added to the multiple war crimes attributed to the genocidal regime,” said G/J Hernández Lárez.
He also stressed that these attacks are directed by the Zionist Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, through a structure of “death and destruction that excludes all possible legality”.
In turn, he explained that Venezuela, its people, the FANB and the Bolivarian Militia demand the immediate cessation of all hostile and arbitrary actions by Israel, sponsored, in his words, by “the most genocidal government in history, the United States” to the detriment of Iran and the peoples that advocate peace.
G/J Hernández Lárez extended his condolences and solidarity to the Iranian leaders, their population and the fallen who, according to him, “fell to treason by the genocidal government of Israel.”
For his part, the Iranian ambassador to Venezuela, Ali Chegini, expressed his deep gratitude for the expressions of solidarity of the national representation. He stressed that the words come “from the heart and are felt in our population”, and thanked the brotherhood of the Commander in Chief of the FANB, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who noted that “these words of encouragement give us motivation to continue on the right path.”
