First Combatant Cilia Flores reiterated the Venezuelan people's infinite love for Cuba

During the meeting with the delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the First Lady and deputy Cilia Flores, accompanied by President Nicolás Maduro, extended a warm welcome to what she called “the House of the People” and highlighted the “infinite love” of the Venezuelan people for Cuba.

The First Combatant affirmed that the same affection that Commander Hugo Chávez felt for Fidel Castro is that which the People of Venezuela profess towards the Cuban people and institutions.

In addition, he stressed that Cuba is an “example of victories and dignity,” and assured that the Venezuelan people are nourished by their experience to remain victorious. He concluded his speech with the phrase that unites both nations: “Cuba and Venezuela are one flag”.
