The Venezuelan Leonardo Marcano, who spent part of his training in the youth academy of Caracas FC, won his first professional contract and is moving to Portuguese football.
The restraint flyer, a native of Cumaná, stamped his rubric until 2027 with the Portimonense Futebol SAD cast, with whom he has been training since the end of 2024.
Marcano began his training at Caracas FC, where he played in the Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 categories. He had a brief stint at the bottom of the Racing Club of Argentina in 2023, where he was able to participate in several training sessions with the first team.
Marcano joins Jhonder Cádiz, Telasco Segovia, Jesús Ramírez and Alejandro Marqués as some of the Venezuelan people who have managed to stand out at a very young age in Portuguese football.
