Fundación Pueblo Sano has placed 1,179 pacemakers in Yaracuy

The government of Yaracuy, through the Pueblo Sano Foundation, has placed the 1,179 pacemaker since it began its activities 16 years ago.
This was reported by the president of the institution, Marilyn Velásquez, who recalled that this milestone was consolidated with the successful placement of 67 new cardiac devices during a special day held at the Dr. Plácido Daniel Rodríguez Rivero Central Hospital in San Felipe.
Cited by the local press, she explained that in the case of pacemakers, the official explained that they are placed, after medical evaluation and due treatment, without generating any type of cost to the beneficiaries.
Pueblo Sano is a program that represents a fundamental pillar in the Bolivarian Government's social protection policies and strives to provide direct, immediate and free answers to patients with different medical conditions. This foundation is the executing arm of high-impact health policies, covering multiple specialties such as general surgery, pediatrics, traumatology and ophthalmology through the Miracle Mission, which has restored vision to thousands of Yaracuyans.
