“Today there are the friends, companions on the road, in singing and in the work of our Rudy Márquez. We needed to meet to honor him. Today we embrace each other with joy and nostalgia. We are just one step away from his music, his memories and his glory. From this space, I also greet you on behalf of Minister Ernesto Villegas,” Millán said.

Gerardo Valentín was in charge of interpreting songs by the renowned singer that made us sigh, cry and laugh. These were: Love and love, Bella, Ana María, You're going to lose her, I saw her standing there and everyone move.

“It's an honor to sing and evoke an indisputable idol like Rudy Márquez, who in addition to great songs left us great lessons,” said the interpreter.

In addition, the International Diamond Mara award was posthumously awarded, for the 50 years of the immortalized singer's artistic life.
