GDC delivered two sports fields and a children's playground on January 23

The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, delivered two completely rehabilitated sports fields and a children's playground in blocks 9 and 10 of the 23 de Enero parish, according to information published on the Instagram account.

“Thanks to the strengthening of the new Community Government system, all the conditions have been established for our people to continue to transform each space, promoting the well-being and active participation of the community,” he said.

Among the tasks carried out on the courts and the park are: restoration of the perimeter fences, repair with scarification and leveling of the slabs, installation of boards and rings, demarcations, painting of facades, hands, poles, arches and equipment, replacement of luminaires, as well as the weeding, sweeping and collection of waste.

Fernández also distributed sports equipment to young people in the sector to promote social integration and community development.
