The Sumud Global Flotilla (GSF), comprised of 44 vessels, estimates their arrival in the Gaza Strip within three or four days, as it prepares to enter a high-risk area in less than 48 hours.

The crew carrying humanitarian aid had reported multiple drone attacks since their departure from Spain in early September.

The mission, which seeks to break the blockade on Gaza, deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population and denounce the genocide perpetrated by Israel, reported that its lead ships, “OHWAYLA” and “ALL IN” are located only 366 nautical miles off the coast of the Gaza Strip.

“In just two days, the flotilla will enter the high-risk area. Our determination is absolute, but this is the time when your vigilance and global solidarity are most needed,” said the statement released last Sunday after the Israeli warning of the use of force and the recent incidents caused by drone attacks.

Israel recently warned that it will not allow the Flotilla to disembark, while accusing its members without proof of being linked to the Palestinian movement HAMAS and of being a “jihadist mission”.
