GNB seized 289 kilograms of drugs in Amazonas

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), stationed in the state of Amazonas, after searching and searching the area, were able to seize eight bundles of alleged drugs.
According to information issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Justice and Peace Relations (MPPRIJP), the incident occurred in the Caño Pimichi sector, where 292 pots of presumed marijuana, weighing approximately 289 kilograms, were found.
It was also known that the crew members of the boat managed to flee at the time of the intervention of the military personnel, “however, the officials of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), have initiated the corresponding investigations and will continue to search the sector to determine if there is more hidden material related to this procedure”.
