The Government of the state of Táchira began preparations for the San Sebastian International Fair, which will take place next January and will receive a large number of tourists from nearby countries, to enjoy this tradition as every year.

The governor of the entity, Freddy Bernal, recalled that this is the oldest and most visited fair in Venezuela by nationals and foreigners. “The preparation of FITVEN and Christmas was the preamble and the warm-up for what is going to be the San Sebastian Fair and we have a very broad schedule,” he said.

He also stated that the fair will begin on January 6 for the day of the Three Kings in Capacho. “We have everything, approximately 150 events,” he added.

The state of Táchira is the only entity in Venezuela where Christmas festivities are intertwined with fairs in honor of San Sebastián, patron of that place.

This will be the 60th edition of the San Sebastian International Fair, which was created with the purpose of giving impetus to the region's commercial level and which continues to be one of the most important seasons for entrepreneurship.

There will also be musical, cultural and sports activities, among others.
