Government of Guárico delivered second phase of rehabilitation of the Sports Clinic

More than 16,000 people will benefit from the delivery of the second phase of rehabilitation of the Asomecid Sports Clinic (Association of Sports Medicine and Sciences), located in San Juan de los Morros, Guárico state.
In this regard, the governor of the state, José Vásquez, indicated that this Sports Clinic “is the only one that exists in the state of Guárico, we do all this for the health of our athletes and the people of Guarique.”
According to information published in the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the space has 18 medical services and specialties, including internal medicine, dermatology, general surgery, pediatrics, ultrasound, traumatology, gynecology and obstetrics.
Instead, it was equipped with stretchers for offices, chairs, an electrocardiograph for internal medical consultation, an echo Doppler with 3 transducers, a table for the operating room, an electroscalpel for the operating room and other equipment.
“This has a positive impact on the care provided to athletes and the community, allowing for better diagnosis, treatment and recovery,” said Vásquez.
