The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, led this Wednesday the delivery of 60 dental prostheses to patients benefiting from the Sonrisa Mission, a social program that has served more than 3,500 people in the state since its reopening a year ago at the headquarters of Las Colinas de Catia La Mar.

During the event, the regional president emphasized that this initiative, promoted by the national government in 2006, not only improves oral health, but also the self-esteem and emotional well-being of the most needy Venezuelans.

“It's not just an aesthetic issue, it's about ensuring comprehensive health. In no other country in the world is there a free dental prosthesis service with this quality and warmth,” said Terán.
