Government of Miranda adds machinery for the collection of solid waste in the entity

In a joint effort to optimize public services and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, local and regional authorities provided a significant number of 18 new equipment and specialized trucks for environmental sanitation in the Sucre municipality and the Petare parish in Miranda state.
The award ceremony took place at the Galindo Park facilities, under the direction of Governor Elio José Serrano, accompanied by the mayor of the Sucre municipality, Diógenes Lara, and Pedro Infante, Serrano said from his Instagram user.
With a population of close to 800,000 inhabitants and an estimated daily generation of 600 tons of waste and solid waste, the incorporation of this fleet seeks to provide an immediate and efficient response to urban collection and maintenance needs, the governor details.
The new equipment delivered includes: six compactor trucks, basket trucks, mechanical sweepers, vacuum trucks, skid steer loaders and large capacity containers.
