Government of Nueva Esparta and MINTUR work to boost tourism

Through the social network Instagram, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, highlighted that her portfolio together with the Government of the state of Nueva Esparta work together to promote the growth of inbound tourism on Margarita Island.

He highlighted this in connection with the meeting he held with the governor of the entity, Marisel Velásquez, in which they discussed the strengthening of tourism and the economy in the eastern state.

In addition, in another publication, he highlighted that the 100 Russian tourists and tour operators arrived in Nueva Esparta recently had the opportunity to enjoy the island of Cubagua, as part of their itinerary to learn first-hand about the tourist attractions of Venezuela.

At the time, Gómez highlighted the importance of these alliances to boost the national economy. “The arrival of this group demonstrates the confidence of the Russian market in our country. The presence of tour operators is crucial, since they will become our main ambassadors, promoting the quality and safety of our destinations,” he said.
