Government of the Capital District carried out maintenance work on the Catuche stream

The Government of the Capital District maintained the Quebrada Catuche and the drainage system with the removal of debris, an action that seeks to respond to the requirements of the communities and prevent risks.

This was announced by the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, who highlighted the historical importance of the ravine, which suffered a major landslide in 1999, and recalled the victims that this channel claimed.

“You have to know that this Quebrada Catuche comes from Guaraira Repano, reaches Quintacrespo and goes to Parque Central,” she explained, stressing that the work is carried out in response to the needs of the communities through the 1x10 systems of Good Governance.

He stressed that this working day is also part of the Plan of the Seven Transformations, as it corresponds to the theme of Human Cities, which requires the maintenance of services.
