Governor Luis José Marcano began distributing 500,000 toys for children in Anzoátegui

The government of the state of Anzoátegui began distributing 500,000 toys given away by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who has called on the Venezuelan people to make this Christmas a special and unforgettable date for all the girls and boys in the country.

In this regard, Governor Luis José Marcano received gifts in the company of the mayor of Barcelona, Sugey Herrera; the director of the Ministry of Popular Power for Commerce, Rafael Rojas; and the state chief of MERCAL, Yinderf Saldivia, and announced that the distribution will be carried out in conjunction with the mayors and mayors in the 21 municipalities.

Some 45 gandolas were responsible for transporting the gifts to the Cereales La Cruz warehouses on the Barcelona-Puerto La Cruz intercommunal avenue.

“There will not be a child without toys in any municipality, parish, communal circuit, community or residential area because President Nicolás Maduro assures them that way,” Marcano said.

Mayor Sugey Herrera, for her part, announced that in the 41 communes of the Simón Bolívar municipality, the delivery of 85,000 toys will begin this Saturday, the 21st.

“The delivery will be made with street and community chiefs, leaders of the UBCH and spokespersons of the communes,” he said.
