In the El Burro sector of the state of Amazonas, after eight hours of continuous work, it was possible to restore the passage to the dry shack, with the construction in record time of the embankment to allow the passage of all types of vehicles to the barge, which connects the states of Amazonas and Apure through the Orinoco River.

The information was released by the governor of the entity, Miguel Rodríguez, through his social networks Instagram and Facebook, where he stressed that the measure is being taken at a critical time due to the flooding of the Orinoco River.

He also explained that this embankment includes a wall of sacks designed to mitigate the impact of the current and facilitate the arrival of the barge.

“It's a complex job that can only be done in coordination as a single government and with the help of the people,” he emphasized.

He emphasized that community participation was fundamental to achieving this objective.

In this regard, he assured that every effort will be made to attend to the affected people and carry out the work required to keep the river crossing operational.
