The governor of the state of Guárico, Donald Donaire, announced that the Yellow House used as an official residence will be placed at the service of the people and will serve as a museum for the population to learn about the history of the state.

Donaire explained that this emblematic residence has great historical value for the state, and that its opening to the public will allow citizens to get to know it. “The Yellow House will be at the service of our People. We are going to transform it into a museum so that everyone can learn about our history,” he said.

This initiative will allow general access to a cultural space to preserve and exhibit historical elements relevant to regional identity. The opening of the Casa Amarilla as a museum is intended to strengthen the sense of belonging and pride among Guarique communities, according to a press release from the entity's government.
