The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, delivered supplies and tools to farmers from six parishes in the region, benefiting more than two thousand families.

“We are working on the first transformation of the economy promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, to strengthen food sovereignty with the Popular Peasant Power, with the delivery of coconut kits, supplies and seeds,” he said from the Naiguatá parish.

He stressed that corresponding records of peasant councils were provided with the support of the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (SAREN), “they are 17 hectares because the land belongs to those who work it and the Popular Peasant Power has organized itself in La Guaira to produce and produce is to win.”

Medical care and drug delivery to farmers were also provided as part of comprehensive care.

He highlighted that agricultural production in the state has export quality. “We are going to raise foreign exchange through the export process, in a scheme of direct social ownership of the Popular Peasant Power.”
