Governor of the state of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, assured that the Venezuelan people took to the streets of the country to defend the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro and national sovereignty, in the face of aggressions issued by United States imperialism.

“The People of Trujillo came out to express their resounding support for the Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) and President Nicolás Maduro, rejecting the actions that the United States seeks against the integrity of the People,” he said.

He added that “we will always support the leadership of our president. There is no empire worth doing wrong with Venezuela. The answer will always be people in the streets and mobilization to defend the integrity of the Homeland and the legacy left to us by our liberator Simon Bolivar.”
