Governor of Zulia: Peace corridor between Venezuela and Colombia will boost economy in La Guajira

The governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, highlighted the initiative of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro to promote a binational peace corridor.

During the No Trick or Tomorrow Program, Caldera indicated the importance of the economic and commercial strengthening that this corridor would generate, especially in the La Guajira area of both countries.

“By having our Economic Zones of Peace, we have to promote the production of oil palm, livestock, cattle, hydrocarbons, among others,” he emphasized.

He stressed that there is a gas exchange with Colombia, as well as the exchange of job creation and tourism that concern these extreme right-wing sectors because they have no intentions of peace.
