GPPSB candidates in Apure register with the CNE ahead of the 27J elections

This Tuesday,
June 17, the candidates for mayors of the state of Apure for the Simón Bolívar
Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB) registered with the National Electoral
Council (CNE) for the electoral process on July 27.
In this sense,
the candidate of the Achaguas municipality, José Rebolledo; the candidate of the municipality
Muñoz, Ilena Peña; the candidate of the municipality of Páez, José Ramírez; the candidate of the municipality Pedro Camejo, José Cabrera; the candidate
of the municipality Rómulo
Gallegos, Pedro Guerra; the candidate of the municipality Biruaca, José Franco; and the candidate of the municipality
San Fernando, Yoel Solorzano,
formally registered with the electoral body.
The
candidates who were nominated by the people of Apureño in grassroots meetings were accompanied at
this event by the governor of the entity, Wilmer Rodríguez.
According to the CNE, in the municipal electoral process on July 27, 2,806 positions will be elected, distributed as follows: 335 mayors and 2,471 councilors, of which 1,420 by list vote, 982 by roll-call vote and 69 councilors representing indigenous peoples.
