Gran Misión Venezuela Joven creates alliance to strengthen National Fashion School

Representatives of the company Conglomerado Productivo S.A. (CPSA), attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Industry and National Production, with authorities from the Vértice we will Learn from the Great Venezuelan Youth Mission (GMVJ), in order to structure a training plan for the consolidation and promotion of fashion in Venezuelan youth, with the creation of the National School of Fashion.

Héctor Bravo, president of the Productive Conglomerate S.A., who presented the willingness to combine the different productive experiences that are part of the Textile Conglomerate to contribute to the progressive and harmonious development of the training experience of the National Fashion School in contribution to the productive development of the country.

In this regard, Juan Peña, director general of the CPSA, said that it is also proposed to incorporate the National Fashion School into the definition of technical standards for the textile sector, “as part of the inter-institutional cooperation agreement between the Productive Conglomerate S.A and Sencamer, with the purpose of achieving the establishment of national rules for this sector, both in terms of pattern design, garment measurements, and raw materials”.

For her part, Yosneisy Paredes, head of the GMVJ Vamos a Aprender Vértice, indicated that this vertex is responsible for the area of education, science and technology, with which they are promoting the program the new school, in which the creation of the National Fashion School is immersed.

Mariana Rangel, management and production coordinator of the GMVJ Venezuela Design Platform, added that the idea is to develop the Venezuela Design Platform, which brings together designers, textile and footwear companies from Venezuela.

These actions are developed thanks to the policies promoted by the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, in order to contribute to the country's development and national production.
