Around 300 grandparents belonging to twelve Elderly Circles were cared for by means of a full day in the Iribarren municipality of the state of Lara. This is a deployment of the “More Years, More Love” plan that offers medical assistance, delivery of human aid, among other benefits.

The activity took place on the Bella Vista court in the Concepción de Barquisimeto parish as part of the activities scheduled for Barquisimeto Day, a celebration scheduled for September 14.

The activity provided health care for grandparents and grandmothers through general medicine consultations and medication delivery; also for better well-being, grandparents were able to enjoy relaxing massages, hairdressing and barbering; while others were recreating themselves during the day.

The 300 grandparents were treated for food with the delivery of an equal number of “CLAP Grandparents” combos sponsored by Mercal; on the other hand, 120 grandparents and grandmothers received human assistance (canes, walkers and other technical instruments), according to an institutional report.
