Guárico Government activated ophthalmic operating room at Ranuárez Balza Hospital

At the Dr. Israel Ranuárez Balza Hospital in San Juan de los Morros, Guárico state, a new special operating room was put into operation for ophthalmic surgery, according to the website of the newspaper Última Noticias.
Governor José Vásquez explained that this space has high-tech equipment such as the phacoemulsifier and microscopes, to ensure operations with greater precision and safety.
“Beyond restoring sight to our Guariqueños, we aim to guarantee a better quality of life, where the population has excellent medical care free of charge,” he said.
He added that to date more than 400 people have been intervened, with the support of the Miracle Mission.
