The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that 625,000 children and young people are currently part of Venezuela's Scientific Seed Plan.
“Venezuelan education must strengthen scientific education, which must be constituted with patriotic values, which is why the Venezuelan Scientific Seed seeks to train the greatest scientists in Venezuela, in Latin America and in the world, of the Venezuela that we are building,” he said.
He added that “we are making progress in a fundamental concept, which is the construction of a new public, scientific, patriotic, quality, pedagogical, humanistic education that is deeply linked to our country's development plan.”
It is important to remember that the Scientific Incubator seeks to promote the interest and participation of children and young people in science and technology, with the objective of creating a strategy to form a generational reserve of scientific talent, encouraging the study of science from an early age, through recreational and training activities.
