Head of State: 85% of the country's students are in public schools

At the closing of the Pedagogical Congress of Bolivarian Teachers, a key event for the future of education in Venezuela, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro reported that 85% of the country's students attend public schools.
“We have exceeded 90% of schooling in Venezuela, and we are moving towards 100% inclusion. 85% of boys, girls and young people study in public schools and high schools,” he said.
In that sense, he added that “it is an achievement of the People, of the teachers and teachers. Congratulations!. You are my real heroes and heroines, really. What you have done simply shows that Bolívar, Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, El Negro Primera, Manuelita Saenz and Hugo Chávez multiplied by millions, you are the heroes of today's battle.”
