Head of State announced the creation of an institution to strengthen show bands schools in the country

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced the creation of a new institution to strengthen Show Band schools in Venezuela, at the Miraflores Palace, where he welcomed the arrival of the Three Wise Men with joy, colors and emotion.

He congratulated the show bands that won the first prizes in the national competition, which was held for the first time in Venezuela, and mentioned “the San Sebastián de Los Reyes Show Band, the absolute winner and also the Monsignor Granadillo Show Band from the Montalbán municipality of Carabobo”.

In that regard, he reported that this contest, “we are going to do it every year, pay attention to show bands from all over the country, we are going to create a new institution of the National Show Bands with support to build and strengthen the entire national band school”.

He argued that the objective is to create a strong and powerful school, since “there is no municipality in the country that does not have a good show band”.

The head of state stressed that “our beauty is what is beautiful, our identity, music, culture, our traditions. That's how beautiful it is.”

For this reason, once again, he confirmed that “the best vaccine for our children and young people against false values that come from the North, deculturation against the cognitive and psychological war with which they want to harm the minds of our boys and girls, is our culture, traditions, dances and values,” he emphasized.
