On the night of this Monday, July 14, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that he asked Pope Leo XIV for “support for Venezuelan children kidnapped in the United States (USA)”.
In his program Con Maduro+, he explained that “we delivered to the representation of the Catholic nuncio in the country, a letter, in which we go to Pope Leo XIV as a world moral authority”.
He specified to know that the Catholic Church is moving with the issue of migration and for this reason he stated that he has faith in its intervention on behalf of Venezuelan boys and girls who were separated from their parents and remain kidnapped.
