On the night of this Wednesday, August 12, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that if “something is clear, it is that Colombian drug trafficking and the Albanian mafia that seized political power in Ecuador are the ones who finance the campaigns against the Bolivarian Revolution.”
He pointed out that “Venezuela, with its counter-narcotics superintendency, military and police forces, has managed to consolidate over the past 15 years as a territory free from the cultivation of coca leaves, marijuana and cocaine processing.”
I affirm this in the state of La Guaira at an event on the occasion of the strengthening of the Peace Quadrants. “In the battle against slander and infamy against the country, Venezuela will emerge triumphant and we will demonstrate where the criminals and drug traffickers are. A great victory awaits us and we are going to demolish and shred them,” he said.
He commented that in a United Nations (UN) report linked to the drug office and the world trend report. “There is a lot of data on the subject of drug production and trafficking, but what is clear is that in Venezuela the right to a healthy society is being defended,” he stressed.
