Head of State: Gradually, the new generations have occupied positions of leadership

This Thursday, September 12, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the importance of revolutionary youth being consolidated as a force and their formation, in view of which, progressively, the new generations have been occupying positions of command with conscience, honesty and leadership capacity.

“In Governorates, Mayors, National Assembly, ministers,” he said.

In that sense, he mentioned the example of the leader Ricardo Sánchez, who at the time belonged to the opposition ranks and approached the Bolivarian Revolution, “he is a great Bolivarian, the minister of University Education, he exemplifies what we have to do, to open our positions lovingly to young people who are depoliticized and who may be opponents see that this is the path of truth” ·

He emphasized to young people that “when you have an office, it is to serve with humility, to listen, to support a people. Honestly carrying out their duties.”

This was stated in the Plaza of the Anti-Imperialist Rebellion, in the immediate vicinity of the National Pantheon in Caracas, where he was welcomed by revolutionary youth, on the occasion of the celebration of the 16th Anniversary of the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV).
