Head of State: Officers trained in Cuba and Russia have a dual commitment to the Fatherland

This Monday, July 7th, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stated that the group of 19 cadets who studied military studies and their training in the Republic of Cuba and the Russian Federation, are doubly committed to the Homeland.
“I congratulate you for your studies in our sister Republic of Cuba and our sister the Russian Federation,” he said.
He emphasized that “I believe that you have a double commitment to the Homeland, which gave you a special strength and preparation and now, you have to give it everything, everything you learned so that our Armed Forces can assimilate that knowledge and that we are increasingly better prepared to guarantee peace in our country.”
This was highlighted in the Courtyard of Honor of the Bolivarian Army, in Fort Tiuna, where he led the Joint Promotion of officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) from the Command, Technical and Troop Categories, and became the Active Reserve of the 1992 FANB Promotions.
He stressed that “I fervently hope that the Military Commanders of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces recognize in a very special way the experience and knowledge they bring from two countries with military forces with a truly heroic record of battles and victories over the centuries.”
The 19 cadets who studied military studies in Russia and Cuba specialized in the following areas:
Technical operation and equipment on radio and air transport equipment.
Engineering in computerized system automation.
Application and operation of automated systems in air defense system applications.
Engineer in navigation and operation of navigation equipment in surface and underwater units.
Weapons engineering.
Electromechanical systems engineer specialized in field artillery, specialists in aerial landing troop operations.
Radioelectric engineer, specialized in radio electronic weapons for air defense, and in exploration and radiolocation.
